The journey was a feast for the eyes, with lush tea gardens, mist-covered mountains, and the natural beauty of the region making every turn picture-perfect. Passing by charming paddy fields, we felt immersed in the serene charm of Kerala tour landscapes.

During the day, our first stop was the Munnar Rose Garden, a vibrant paradise bursting with colors and fragrances. We then visited the Mattupetty Dam & Lake, where we enjoyed the misty air and the picturesque scenery. As evening fell, we check in to the hotel in Munnar, The cozy Lake N Hills Resort in Munnar. The view from our balcony was nothing short of spectacular, overlooking rolling green valleys and misty mountains. After a delicious dinner, we enjoyed an overnight stay at the hotel, recharging ourselves for the exciting adventures awaiting us in Thekkady.

Day 2: Munnar Thekkady Tour

On the second day of our Munnar-Thekkady tour package, we started the day with a delicious breakfast before heading out for an exciting day of exploration. Our first stop was Rajamalai National Park (Eravikulam National Park), a must-visit in any Kerala tour. This breathtaking sanctuary, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, offered scenic beauty like no other. Walking through its lush green trails, surrounded by the misty charm of the hill station, was truly unforgettable.

The journey through winding roads, passing paddy fields and misty forests, was a treat in itself. Thekkady is home to the renowned Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and Periyar Tiger reserve where visitors can witness the stunning flora and fauna of Kerala.

By night, we went back to the hotel Spice Lap Resorts, a charming retreat nestled amidst lush greenery. After a delightful dinner, we stayed overnight at the hotel, excited for the adventures that awaited us on our final day.

Day 3: Thekkady Adventure Tour

Our last day morning in Thekkady began with a hearty breakfast, preparing us for an exciting day ahead. In Periyar National Park, our first adventure was the Periyar Lake Boat ride experience (₹809 per person), an absolute must in any Munnar-Thekkady tour package. As we gently drifted along the serene waters of this picturesque lake, we were lucky to spot elephants, deer, and a variety of exotic birds in their natural habitat. The tranquil beauty of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary made this a truly magical experience.

Next, we had the thrill of an elephant ride, a rare opportunity to interact with these majestic creatures. Riding through the lush greenery on an Elephant Safari was undoubtedly one of the most memorable moments of our Kerala tour. The experience of being so close to nature, surrounded by the sounds of the wild, was something we would cherish forever.

With our hearts full and cameras loaded with stunning pictures, we began our return journey. Passing through scenic tea gardens and misty plantations, we reflected on the unforgettable moments we had experienced over these past days. By 7-8 PM, we arrived back in Ernakulam, bringing our incredible journey to a close.
