Day 1: En Route to Munnar
I woke up early and headed towards Munnar from Ernakulam Vyttila. The journey brimmed with scenic views, filling me with excitement for all the adventures that awaited. Upon reaching Munnar, warm smiles greeted me, prompting me to immediately set out and explore the natural beauty of the place.
When I started my tour, the lush landscapes that surrounded me simply amazed me. The Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Walara Waterfalls were breathtaking, showcasing the power and serenity of nature. A visit to the Spice Garden was a sensory delight, with the fragrant aromas of cardamom, cinnamon, and pepper filling the air.
But the adventure didn’t end there. I also experienced a unique and rejuvenating fish massage, connected with majestic elephants on an elephant ride, and indulged my sweet tooth at the Chocolate Factory. The Rose Garden with its vibrant blooms was also charming.
As the day came to a close, I settled into my resort and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Reflecting on the day’s adventures, I felt grateful for the opportunity to immerse myself in the wonders of nature.
Day 2: Exploring Eravikulam and Beyond
On Day 2, we woke up early and explored Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Seeing these majestic creatures roam around freely in their natural habitat was truly breathtaking and reminded me of the importance of conservation efforts.
Next, we visited Wonder Valley Adventure Park, where we experienced exciting activities such as ziplining through the treetops and rappelling down rocky cliffs, which challenged us to push beyond our limits and embrace the thrill of the unknown.
Later on, we left Munnar and headed towards Vagamon, a hidden gem nestled amidst the rolling hills of Kerala. The breathtaking beauty of the Vagamon Meadows greeted us, with lush greenery stretching as far as the eye could see.
After a delicious dinner at our resort, I went to bed dreaming of the adventures that awaited me in the days to come.
Day 3: Discovering the Charms of Vagamon
With a great sense of excitement, we embarked on a journey to explore the breathtaking wonders of Vagamon. The Glassbridge offered us a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Also, the Pine Forest enchanted us with its tranquil beauty.
During our visit to the Marmala Waterfalls, we took a refreshing break from the midday heat and immersed ourselves in the cool and clear waters. The experience left us feeling rejuvenated and alive.
As our journey came to an end, we headed back to Ernakulam with lasting memories of the beautiful Munnar and Vagamon. I carried with me a renewed sense of wonder and gratitude for the natural world.
